Sally's Tie Tack Ring

Sally was one of the sweetest clients I’ve ever worked with. This custom project involved taking her grandfather’s antique tie tack and making a ring for it with more of a secure setting. It had most recently been soldered to a thin band so she wanted to surround the piece with a bezel. Sally also wanted something that wasn’t so delicate. I'm super happy with how the final ring came out. It not only felt like it protected the piece but the new ring just enhanced the overall vintage vibe of the tie tac.
