I was introduced to Dr. Deloris McNeal Young through a friend and the moment I met her I instantly felt her beautiful spirit. Dr. Young gives so much to children and families in need that I knew I wanted to treat her to a special piece of jewelry.
When Dr. Young founded her church in 1981 she met so many people in her community that were in need of assistance. This community need inspired her to open the Agape Family Life Center in 2007. It is their mission to bring people together and help them reach their basic human needs as well as their business, health, fitness, and fun goals.
As a result of Dr. Young’s generous spirit the Life center is able to feed 1,000 individuals a month, provide clothing and blankets to those in need, give children and adults access to educational programs, and provide children with food for the week through their backpack buddies program.
Dr. Young has spent her entire life giving to others and I am so grateful she allowed me to gift her the Ares Cuff.
