Crystal's Georgian Diamond Ring

This was a really special project for my friend Crystal. She was passed down her grandmother’s wedding set and wanted to redesign it into an engagement ring.

When we started the process, she definitely knew she wanted to use the heirloom diamonds to create something more modern. She was looking for more of a statement ring and she wanted to have mixed metals of white and rose gold.

When I started working on original concepts, I thought it would be really beautiful to combine the unique shapes of her grandmothers engagement ring but update them slightly for the new ring. It was those combined antique elements and modern feel that truly brought this design together. It is absolutely one of my favorite designs and it looked so beautiful on Crystal.
